Radiator Installation Instructions for Honda

Radiators are crucial to the operate of a Honda. The radiator cools the engine and keeps the air con cool. When a radiator becomes cracked or starts leaking it should be changed as quickly as possible. Mechanical retailers can cost a whole bunch of dollars, but you can do it your self with a few tools in an hour.

Honda Radiator Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect the unfavorable cable from the battery to cut back the chance of electrical shock. Set up the engine-cooling fans and bolt them in place by sliding them down behind the radiator (on the facet of the radiator nearest the engine) and tightening the bolts on top of the fans within the holes on the radiator.
4. Exchange and tighten the hoses to the radiator. Place the hose clamps on the tip of the hose, slide the hose into place and then slide the hose clamp 1 inch away from the top of the hose. Tighten the clamp. Plug in the electrical connector for the cooling-fan switch.
5. Refill the cooling system with coolant. Examine the hoses and bottom of the radiator for leaks. Make sure that the radiator cap is tightened.
